Which is best or easy for IELTS American English and British English
Hello Simran,
IELTS stands for international English language testing system. It is an international test which means you can use either American or British English however the differences between the two is so elemental that it comes down to even spelling. So it is important that you follow either British English or American English and not mix the two while giving your test. Indian education system normally follow British English so it is preferable to use it to avoid confusion. At the end of the day, it is all about your comfort level. Hope this helps and Good luck.
You can use any of the English languages as per your comfort. You can either choose UK English language or the US English language.
These both languages are considered and acceptable forms of English, IELTS examiners will give you equal marks whether you use American or British English.
Note: In the IELTS exam, you can’t mix both the languages. You must keep in mind that you need to follow only one English style – either American or British.
