Which is best sastra university or amirta university for btech cse?

About Sastra University:

Sastra university,Thanjavur is one of the best universities in Tamilnadu. It takes students solely based on merit. No donation seats are available. The competition is heavy to get into the University.Placements are good at sastra thanjavur.Infrastructure is excellent at sastra thanjavur.It is very strict.Placements are ultimate at sastra. It is definite that you will get placed atleast in 1-2 or maybe more if you have above average intelligence. Temple,Holistic culture and feeding cows,Vedas and sanskrit reminisce our cultureand make us feel to go back to our rootsMilk products like curd or paneer are natural direct from cows.Food is pure vegetarian.

About Amrita University:

The scenic beauty is unmatchable. The climate is simply amazing. The library is really huge. You can also find various rare books here. Ragging is very rare and the repercussions are.. well.. extremely serious.The curriculum in the first year is not sp good. In the first sem there is not one core subject(CSE).

According to me you should go with former choice of yours, its only a suggestion, ultimate choice is solely yours. Make a wise decision. Hope the information will help you to make the decision easier.

I would prefer Amrita ,due to following reasons:

1. Assuming that you are getting into coimbatore campus ,this campus is far better than Sastra campus . ( I have been to sastra twice for thier fest and I have stayed there . Sorry to say that thier amenities are average level . I am an alumni of Amrita and I know how good is Amrita campus )
2. Weather is perfect in amrita coimbatore whereas Thanjavur is so hot . (Thanjavur is my native )
3. Placements is good at Amrita . Even sastra has good placements . But on a comparative note Amrita gives you more options (I got into 4 companies when I did my engineering)
4. The brand name of Amrita is far better than Sastra. The alumni from Amrita has done a good job in developing a brand for Amrita . This helps in your career and in your resume
5. Academics , I mean the course wise Amrita is better . The syllabus and the exam patterns are in par with Tier 1 colleges like IIT
6. Grading system of Amrita is in relative format . And the courses are offered based on grade points . There are elective options too
