Hello,

BSc(Hons)  is anyday more valuable than BSc General, as the former is more focused on in-depth study, hence if you get opportunity to pursue Hons then go for it, this is also a good choice in case you want to go for academics or research field as you come from science stream stream, after graduation you can go for IIT JAM and pursue higher studies, later on you can try for CSIR NET, this will further open opportunities in terms of research and teaching in higher education, also recruitments are done in private sectors after qualifying this exam which you can try for. when it comes to work in private sector it depends in which field you're looking for jobs, accordingly you can pursue short term courses also through MOOCs, as these definitely add weightage to your CV, and along with this you can try for gaining experiences by doing internship.
