Hello There ,

Both are different careers options and both have different aspects. With Ms , you can go for science sector and pursue masters and research in tech sector and other engineering branches . With Mba you can go for the finance sector , so if you want to go for non tech area , then Mba might be good . In terms of salary , however mba has a slight edge over ms , but it all matters upon your own capabilities .  For ms you need to give the gre exam and for mba you have need to give gmat exam and toefl or ielts is common exam for both , so depending upon your career thinking , you can go for either of them in abroad.

Hope it Helps and All the Best.

Hello aspirant,
It seems like you are confused between two courses MBA and MS after btech.
The courses you choose or pursue are totally depend upon your interest. so, firstly sit and think once .after that it is very important to keep in mind that what you want from your post graduation (knowledge and about further jobs, also in which fields).
MBA is totally different from what you studied on your four years of BTech because it is about marketing.

If you wish to focus on engineering as your core passion, work in an engineering-related sector and conduct researches in engineering, then MS would be the right path for you.

Hope it's helpful,thankyou.

Hello student,

Actually this is a very tough question. And it is completely depend upon you. If you want to to make your career in the basis of pure engineering, if you have wish to you have research work in engineering, and if you have a a gentle desire to make 1 and built your whole life on the basis of Engineering you should go for MS.

And if you want to make your career In corporate world you should go for MBA.

Actually most of the people after doing BTech go for MBA. There are somen pros and cons also. If you go for MBA the pay scale will be higher. You can become your own boss. You can grow in your career in very fast.

Another hand for MS you can make a smooth transition to senior position. Maybe it can take time to make your career but it will pay later. In your whole life. And the cost are quite lower than MBA course.

Now if you want to make your career first man go for MBA otherwise stay for MS.

Now it is completely your decision best of luck

Hi Aspirant,

For MBA there is a much wider job prospectives. You can attach yourself to banking managements and Investment banking, data analytics or to a private job.Salaries offered after pursuing MBA is quite lucrative.MInimum Salary in a good post ranges to 2-3 lakhs per annum and average being 5-7 lakhs per annum. The main advantage for pursuing MBA is that it ranges to any career opportunities you like be it banking to sales executive.

In India,I would not encourage to do MS because there are not much people to analyze you correctly and moreover if you get a job here you would be paid according to Indian Standards and not be paid actually for your job.So i will not encourage to perform ms unless you plan to settle outside India.

Hope this helps!!
