which is better among b.tech computer engineering and b.tech information technology?
Hello student ,
As there is no major difference. The foundation of both the streams are same and hence none is better then anything. Although if you have a choice like which should i choose, then always go for a better college since maybe after your college you want to get in to a better company for placement.Join any of the stream as per your interest, as at the end of thing you have to do a job . Beside this Computer Science engineering students study about design, implementation, and management of information system of both software and hardware processes and Information Technology deals with installation, development and implementation of computer systems and applications.
Hope it helps !
Hello Aspirant,
According to my knowledge difference is provided below:
- Computer science engineering is to improve our current laptops and desktop architecture. Like in 2000 laptops are bigger than 2010 and now ultrabooks and note books are in the market. This is because of CSE and electronics engineering. So CSE is combination of electronics and computer programming and hardware at some extend.
- CSE Engineers mainly focus on how to reduce size of computer and make them more efficient. Other hand IT is how to secure information, how to secure websites, programming, how to manage everything in the company.
- If i talk about subjects, according to university where I persue for b.tech IT. The difference of subjects are: IT have subjects like web technologies, network security, cyber law, human resource management and communication skills which are different from cse. (But these subjects might be in cse also in other universities).
- In research area, IT engineer focus on how to secure information and data communication, big data, handling of IT infrastructure, encryption decryption etc. But in CSE mostly engineers work on making hardware more efficient to run programs, reduce size of current system, design of system etc.
