Which is better b tech in IT or b tech in AI and data science?
Each stream has its own outreach and scope and opportunities. But AI and Data Science has been relatively new branch when compared to IT. With a degree inAI and Data Science, the opportunities are across cross disciplinary fields like HealthCare, Business, e Commerce, Biotechnology, Genetics, Climatology, etc. But this is not the case with IT. IT stream deals with detailed study of programming and software computer. The scope is good but AI and Data Science takes the slot for the better one amongst these two.

Both the branches are good in their own terms. IT and AI/Data Science has a lot of opportunities in the future and in the present scenario as well. Data Science and Artificial Intelligence has an increased demand in the recent times and may have more demand and related skills in the future. Whereas Information Technology has been a crucial component of any Tech firm.
For this you need to see which stream interest you more. If you wish to work in Internet Protocols, Software development you may chose IT and if you wish to learn about the Artificial Science, Data Handling and Visualization, then take the other option.
You must note that AI/Data Science program will be more advanced than IT.
