BBA economics prepares a student to work in a business background while BA economics helps in developing a broader set of skills in humanities stream.
If you want to pursue an MBA after graduation, I will suggest you to go for BBA rather than BA. While if you want to get a job in teaching or banking sector, you should go for BA.

Hello there!
BBA is more professional degree than BA. But since there are a lot of advancements in the education system now with internships and job opportunities. Both degrees can't be let down. Generally different colleges provides different job seeking opportunities.
