Hello Aditi
Both BSc. Computer Science and BSc. IT almost have the same job profiles. But, in BSc. CS, you will learn about the core concepts of Computer Science and you can also perform Research on various research topics, whereas, in BSc. IT, you will learn about the prevailing technologies that are already in use. IT is itself a part of Computer Science. So, I would suggest you to go for BSc. Computer Science rather than BSc. IT, as it has a wider range of exposure, plus offers job profiles with high salary packages. You will have the knowledge of all the core concepts of Computer Science, including the concept of IT as well. Companies usually hire candidates who have the knowledge about the core concepts of Computer Science.
But again, it solely depends on your interest. Whether you want to study the core concepts of CS and perform research, or you want to study about the prevailing technologies of CS, completely depends on you. I want you to not get confused between the two, and choose a course on the basis of your personal interest.
Hope this was helpful.
Good Luck!!!
