Which is better between btech in food technology and btech in applied electronics and instrumentation?
Hi,
I think Applied Electronics and Instrumentation would be better due to the following reasons:
Applied Electronics & Instrumentation is a specialized branch of both electrical and electronics engineering and focus on measuring instrument, process control which are used in design and configuration of automation system.
There is lot of scope for an E&I engineer throughout the world. The scope in both public sector as well as the private sector. Mainly job available in industry like companies dealing in electronic circuits designing ,microprocessor & microntroller based control designing etc.
Apart from that job for an E&I engineer available in software companies, all electronics companies, all production companies and all machine & instrument companies. Under public sector jobs available in the Railway, DRDO, IES, ONGC, BSNL, NTPC, BEL, BHEL, Indian Army/Air Force. Some of these companies consider GATE score for recruitment.
Private companies which are in the Feild of developing new & intelligent sensor, Samart tranducers, Bluetooth technology etc. always have an opening for E&I engineering. There are option for PSU (public sector) & private sector, IT Feild & Core feild. Software giant like IBM, aceenture TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahimdra offer job for E&I engineering.
