• Good study environment with green campus
• Good students is to teacher ratio
• Good placement
• Locality is good as it is in durgapur
• Have a great hostel and mess

So overall it is a better college.

Kolaghat Engineering college is better. The placements of this college are best. 70-80% students got placed in companies like Infosys and TCS.

BC Roy is also giving placements but not that much good. Companies take the students who can have the ability to work for them.

Placements : Placements at Dr B.C. Roy Engineering College are quite well. More than 40% of the total students in a course get placed. Many companies like Accenza, TCS, Cognizant, and a lot more visit the campus for placements. Students are generally offered a salary package of Rs.10,000-30,000 per month which is quite well for freshers. Job roles like sales executive, BPO, marketing executive, etc., are offered to students.

Infrastructure : Dr B.C Roy Engineering College has very nice infrastructure. Wi-Fi facilities are available for both faculty members and students. Classrooms are well acquainted with an adequate amount of desk and benches. There are two libraries, one central and the other departmental libraries which provides all needed books. Computer labs and playground facilities are also there in college.

Faculty : Faculty members are well educated and supporting. Most of them are PhD qualified. They are highly knowledgeable which helps them to provide quality education to the students. They also stand by your side when you need them.

Other : College arranges many enjoyable and refreshments programs like tech fest, annual meet, freshers cultural programs, and many more. It helps students to get refreshed from time to time. Many sports and competitive games are also arranged at regular intervals.

College of Engineering and Management, Kolaghat has better ranking than Dr. B.C. Roy engineering college, durgapur. The placement is very good in case of CSE Students, other departments as well. The companies do come here, but due to lack in the particular domain that companies need we fail to get job opportunities. The maximum was 8 lpa.
