As you might have already learned that both these colleges are one of the best in India. Firstly, since NIT is a government aided institution, hence there is a reservation policy. But BITS has a strict no reservation policy. This provides for a slightly better competition at BITS. Talking about placements, both these colleges offer fairly high packages, especially for CSE branch students. BITS has an upper edge in hostel facilities and mess facilities.

Lastly, coming to the most talked topic of almost double fees of BITS as compared to NITs and IITs. I would like to inform you that the facilities provided by BITS tend to ask for a higher fee. But BITS also offers an institute Merit-cum-need scholarship to the students, whose parents have an annual income under a given mark. The scholarship ranges from 25% to 80% waiver of the tuition fee. So if you feel you can compete with candidates and get a good CGPA, but fees are bothering you, then don't leave BITS.

Since both the colleges are the top most college it's very difficult to judge

But remember fees of bits is double the fees of Nit trichy. Infrastructure, library, best placement comes to both the places  almost everything is same but hostel facilities of bits is much better.

And no reservations is there in bitsat exam so best candidates are chosen.

So if you don't have income issues you may chose anything.

Hello Niraj, If high fees is not a problem then choose BITS Pilani. Also, your classmates and seniors will be much better since there is no reservation in BITS. Otherwise, go for NIT Trichy. It is the best among all NITs. Also scoring good CGPA will be easier here.

If you are getting CSE branches in both the institutes, I would recommend you to take to nit Trichy CSE. Because nit is a government institute, good placements, low fee(compared to bits), bits hike fee for no reason.
