Flexibility and freedom - Here BITS is better than any college in India.

Reason - Zero percentage attendance, No reservation, Flexibility about Courses, timetable, faculty etc.

Now its up to individuals, who is going to chose which college depending on which factor they are going to give first preference.

Why didn't I compare Other fields ?

Let's see why:-

1. Campus - Both BITS Pilani and IITs have excellent Campuses. They are at par with each other. Same goes for Fests.

2. Faculty - Excellent and Experienced faculty in Both these colleges. It depends on one, how much one can absorb.

3. Placements - Both the colleges have an excellent track record of Placements with best companies visiting them from around the globe. It entirely depends on the skill set of individuals.

4. CCA/Personal Development - Entirely individual dependent.

5. Startup - Both of almost equal opportunities to have a startup. While its easier to have a startup from BITS, hundreds of world-renowned startups from IITs have flourished(history says).

6. Tag/Brand Name - Well established fact that IIT tag > BITS tag. BUT BUT BUT if an IITian ever comes in Competition with a Bitsian with the similar skill set, no BITSian is going to get rejected. The reason is that both BITS, as well as IIT, are heavy duty tags. In foreign both are equally renowned and prestigious.

IIT is better than BIT .... I N many way .

First of all IIT is a government institution whereas bitsat is a private

Second the fees of iit is also very less as compared to BITS

IIT is ranked on top 100 in the world ... And BITS Is not even in the list .

That's why one should choose IITS instead of bits

But if you want bits .... Bits is also one of the prestigious college of India

Hi friend, this question floats through the mind of all the students who are preparing for the jee. As in terms of IIT and bits both the college have its own reputations as well as in terms of placements also both are fabulous. But it should be known that tag of IIT creates a little difference when we go for higher studies a little bit(other than c.s).

In Computer Science branch both IIT as well as Bits hits the placement. But I want to tell you that college matters but when it depends on us only what we achieve in our 4 year course of study at engineering. Engineering is the time when people think that what to do next in career.
