Hello Ashish,

Well the name, Northern India Engineering College has been changed and the new name is Dr Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology and Management. Below I have provided the required details about both the colleges -

Bhagwan Pasrhuram Institute of Technology :

  • BPIT is a private engineering college and was eshtablished in the year 2006. The college campus is about 8 ares with 77 faculties.
  • The college is affiliated to Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.
  • The college offers programmes like B.E./B.Tech ,BBA, MBA.
  • The college offers facilities like girsl hostel, library, sports, cafeteria, wifi, medical/hospital, alumni associations etc.
  • Talking about the placements, a B.E./B.Tech student gets a average package of 3.55 Lakhs.
  • As per the student reviews, the college is good for CSE and IT courses.

Dr Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology and Management :

  • The college is private college and was eshtablished in the year 2003. The college campus is about 9 acres with 238 faculties.
  • The college is affiliated to Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi and also has been accredited 'B' grade by NAAC.
  • The college offers programmes like B.E./B.Tech ,BBA, MBA.
  • The college offers facilities like  library, sports, cafeteria, wifi, medical/hospital, alumni associations etc.
  • As far as the placements are considered, a B.E./B.Tech student gets a highest package of 9 Lakhs and a average package of 4 Lakhs.
  • As per the student reviews, the college is pretty good for CSE, IT and ECE branches.

Now according to me both the collegs are good for CSE, IT and ECE courses. However, Dr Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology and Management is a better option than BPIT. The former has better teaching experience, is recognised by NAAC,has more number of faculties and placements are much better. Also, the student reviews shows that the college is pretty good.

Hello Ashish.

BPIT and NIEC both are very nice colleges. Both are private and GGSIPU. They are not autonomous colleges. Both the colleges have 120 seats per course.

BPIT was established in the year 2007. Its fee is around 113000 per year. Their is no traveling option in college so you have to manage your own transportation but as it is near Metro station, reaching the college is not a problem. There is big College ground available for Cricket and football, a basketball court, and there is also facility of table tennis, badminton, chess, carrom board etc. The labs are clean and have the required equipment. Other co curricular activities include college clubs on coding, dance, dramatics etc. The placement is fair enough for students who actually have a good knowledge and almost all the students get placed within the campus placement. The college doesn't provide internship but has partnership with some coaching institutions.

NIEC was established in 2003. Its fee is 106500 per year. Faculty is good and helpful. Most teachers are always ready to help students. T he campus is large as compared to the other colleges under the university. The canteen service is well maintained. The college p rovide average placements but if you have a great knowledge of coding software you will surely get placement in the IT sector. It provides job opportunities for the IT sector. It also provides an internship.

Hope it helps.

Hello student Bpit is more preferable as

good thing having B.tech in BPIT are the placements.Previous year lots of companies came here and all are the coding ones.(By coding i mean service based and few product based).

Teachers and facilites provided are average.

And in NIEC,

there is very less placements.

Feel free to comment if you have any doubt.
