which is better BSC computer science or bca?
Hey!
First of all , if you are from scienec stream then you must go for bsc cs and if you are from any other stream then you can join BCA. Actually, BSC Cs is almost theoretical and fundamentals, but bca is totally application based. much focus on coding is given in bca than in bsc. Also, sttatistically it has been obsereved that indian software companies prefer the candidates who are more application oriented than those are having good theoretical knowledge.
Hope I answred your query .
thankyou
Hi student ,
Both courses are good in their respect no doubt . But their is some difference BCA focus on Computer applications and it's function and it's consider a more professional course as compare to BSc CS . BCA makes you ready for research works and can be also pursued by distance learning at some point bca also covers computer science and some part of software engineering . While BSc CS is based on Mathematical and theoretical knowledge of computer mainly deals with programming which is also part of BCA hence BCA is a little better option than BSc in computer science . Now it's your decision.
Hi student,
See, the clear difference between BCA and B.Sc Computer science is that BCA is for students who want to be technically skilled to showcase their in the IT industry, on the other B.Sc Computer science focuses more on programming languages, coding, networking, mathematics, statistics etc.
So, BCA is a job oriented or a industry specific course which this is not in the case of B.Sc Computer science course.
I would suggest you choosing BCA over B.Sc Computer science course. Rest, the choice is yours.
