Hey.
The choice between BSC and B.TECH should be completely based on an individual’s interest.
You have to opt between either a pure science degree which deals with the advancements of Physics,Chemistry and Maths or go for the Applied science which is technical / technological.
BSC is broad and theoretical wheread Btech is practical and technical.
In BSC you have to do M.Sc / M.Tech / M.E / MBA for specialisation as the course is general wheres in Btech you have to choose a specialised field of interest. You have to go for post graduation in case of BSc as it is very general. Prospects are more after Btech but here also, further degree is recommended.
Here are your options after completing B.Sc-M.Sc, MBA , P.G. Diploma, M.Sc and then M.Tech / M.E
BTech -
M.Tech / M.E , MBA / P.G. Diploma
Keeping all this in mind, So if you have interest in basic, non technical side of science you should go for DU as it is a very reputed university and not go for BTech only for the sake of it. But if you are more interested in technical part of the science, you should definitely opt Btech.
Best of luck!
