Both are the different fields & has own value in its fiels. It totally depends on your interest & capability. B.Sc is a 3 Year programme while B.tech is 4 Year programme. B.Sc is only a simple graduation while B.tech is a professional degree after that you can get placed in top companies as per your capability with good salary package. So if we compare both of the fields then B.tech is good. The scope depends on the field you choose.

BSc provides you with a better understanding of theoritical science as it lead you in its broadness while B.tech gives you a practicle and applied knowledge of that science which you choose.

For the admission in B.Sc each college has different criteria some has entrance some takes the admission through merit list.

Some of the colleges for B.Sc:

DU

BHU

Jamia Islamia

For B.tech admission you need to appear for IIT JEE or your state level exam.

Through IIT JEE you can get admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs.

Choosing a course depends on your interest. B.sc is a basic science (pure science) and B.tech is a applied science (technical). If we compare the courses then you can go for B.tech course. It has better job opportunities.
