Greetings,
the arguable but popular answer would be B.tech + MBA when it comes to salary.
It all depends on certain things, like:
- what job market would you be entering after M.tech or MBA?
If you do B.tech nd M.tech, your expertise would be technical and hence the technical job market would be welcoming you more. The jobs in that market are varied, some government jobs are also available.
- what branch of M.tech or MBA would you be opting for?
M.tech from branches like CSE and Mechanical offer a higher rate of employment and better salary packages. In the same way, MBA branches like Finance and marketing offer better opportunities in private companies.
Why is B.tech + MBA a better option?
because it opens more number of job opportunities than M.tech (which is industry based), MBA graduates can fit in a wide variety of roles anywhere which gives them the edge of grabbing a better salary package than most M.tech graduates.
But the other side of the coin is that - there are more MBA graduates than M.tech graduates. So what this means is that more competition for MBAs while highly skilled M.tech graduates take away positions of technical importance with big salaries.
Bottom line is - it all depends upon your career path, the college reputation, you expertise and a bit on your personality.
hope it helped,
good luck
