You can have many opporrunities in future if you go with Electrical Engineering. There are many government job opportunities for Electrical Engineering. Branch selection depends on personal interest. But it has a huge effect on your carrer. So you would need to be clear about both the branches. Both of these are core branches and have a good number of government jobs.

In civil engineering you will learn about various construction techniques, machinery, mechanics etc. It would be more of an on feild job.

In Electrical engineering you will leran about the formation of circuits their working and solving them for various instruments. It also has good job opportunities but the private sector jobs are limited in both the branches. You should choose branch according to ypur interst.

Both civil and electrical engineering are good options but you should choose the option in which you are passionate about. I can give you a little overview aboit both of them. While civil engineering relates to working on infrastructure related work such as road, buildings or dams, electrical engineering relates to usage of electricity,  electronics and electromagnetism though the salary and career prospects are higher a bit in the later than in the former.
