Hi Ravindra,

Look IIT is a brand, you can't compare the top 7,8 IIT'S with NIT'S except top 2-3 NIT'S. TOP NIT'S is relevant to IIT'S.

Now compare to branches, if you are getting branches like civil, mechanical etc,  worth it to join. Top companies visits the top IIT'S, so you will get chance to get placed. But if you are getting branches like CSE, ECE, EE in TOP NIT'S, then it is worthable to join NIT'S rather than go for IIT'S but just for TOP NIT'S like TIRUCHIRAPPALLI, Warangal, Surathkal, NSIT, DTU etc. Otherwise join IIT'S if you get.

Good luck!

Hi.

See honestly it purely depends on your interest. If you are interested in building stuff and can stand in warm and dusty construction sites then go for civil. If you like coding and want an A.C. office where you will work 95 sitting in front of computer then go for COE. Let me tell you it's not always about money. Both the options are the best in their respective fields. Introspect and do what your heart says.

Good luck.
