Computer science is booming now a Days its better if you choose computer science you will more opportunities to expand your horizon

Buddy first of all if you want to go IT/CS stream, then need to clear your doubts with 2 basic fundamentals.



In IT its all about Software , in CS it all about Sofwtare + Hardware + OS core. So choose the same as per your interest like in software/programing language or in IT infra like network/server/Operating System etc. Domains.Now before Joining any college or university please check the placement % , type of companies coming in campus and infra of the campus. As most of the university tell you that we have 100% placement but actually they dont have good placement %.



As at the end of your 3rd year or 4th Year you need placement (if you dont wana go for further studies). So placement must the first priority for anyone before joining engineering. and if any chance anyone didnt get placed through campus then the job finding is a big issue + dream which make you feel sad each day. Like we faced in year 2008 where market was in big trouble in IT infra and services.



Second about campus Infra, if Infra would not be good or at good location then ultimately you will be not able to focus on studies and on your career as most of the narrow minded faculty and students come at such place (please dont mind my words but i have done Diploma + BE and both the colleges were in remote village locations, so i know and have experience of the infra thing). Campus like Amity and all have good infra and students coming from good background so ultimately you will raise yourself in terms of studies and personality (only this depends on what type of people you are living and hanging out).



So all the best for future. and Join any of the stream as per your interest, as at the end of thing you have to do a job either in software domain or IT infra support.

Hi onkar both branches are good it depends on u that if u are interested in software related thing so CS is good and if u are interested in hardware related thing so IT is good.so it is upto u in which u are interested .
