Tough choice it is indeed. Going with each and every point, we need to analyze this. Both the colleges have been ranked the same on the Careers360 portal. Both have been doing great. Fees wise, BITS will be a little costly. The course structure is similar. Coming to the placement statistics, well, both run parallel. Highest package goes around 20-30 LPA, while the average having a figure of 10 LPA. campus wise, basic necessities are present in both, but BITS lacks WiFi. Both are recent ones, ISM got converted into IIT, and BITS opened a new college in Hyderabad. The only factor thus left to compare is proximity, city or location. Now, it depends upon you which one you would prefer. Had it been me, Hyderabad would be the option considering the city.

Also, if you want to go for the IIT tag, then you may go for it, it can be helpful in the long run, but BITS has the same brand value as IIT.

First of all Congratulating you on your nice performance that you deserve those prestigious institute of the country. One thing I would like to tell you that IIT dhanbad is also known as ISM ie. Indian school of mining, so this institute is considered best for mining and petroleum engineering and you wish to join computer science engineering so as per as my opinion is concerned BITs hyderabad, although a private institute but better than some of the IITs in every terms, so BITs hyderabad is better than IIT dhanbad for computer science engineering.

If you have a good interest in CSE and you’re getting it in Dhanbad as well, then I would suggest doing a bit more research about both the institutes.Regarding facilities and infrastructure Bits would naturally be better and I have been to the campus for BITSAT 2017—it is absolutely wonderful.

The thing about Dhanbad is that though it isn’t one of the old IITS, it is still an IIT and and you can reach great heights there. It will be funded properly and will soon become better. But don’t expect the college life to be better than BITS hyd. The main thing to remember is that a good college can only take you a certain distance, but you alone, with a great passion for your subject, can go the distance.

Try and chose your branch first and then you can move forward from there.
