Which is better CSE / electrical / mechanical engineering?
Well, first of all. There is no This vs That. Think about what interests you more.
- If you are good at logic and imagination, go with CSE. Programming needs well developed logic in order to create innovative stuff. It's more or less office work engineering, because most of CSE undergrad end up their career being a software engineer only. You'll surely get the best package among all the branches of your college. -Present trends
- EE is what people say CORE branch, where no recession occurs. You'll be dealing with electro-magnetic devices, wires, power sources, designs of electronic machines like invertors, generators etc. Both field work and office work is covered in this branch.
Interest matters a lot. Choosing a branch only on the basis of package will be disastrous decision. Think twice before you move ahead.
