Which is better CSE OR ECE?
hii ,
if your interested in electornics then you can take it but the CSE is the best for placements
here is the college predictor link - https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?ici=cp-listing_engineering&icn=JEE-Main-College-Predictor
Hey Candidate,
According to now most of the students get confused in which group to take for better job experience or for better future . But compared to now CSE and ECE has equal standards for your future compatibility. Mostly its in your hands to what to take and how to work harder on it. Asking me ECE has more opportunities more on CSE.
Hope this helps you
Which is best in engineering CSE or ECE for job opportunities
ece because ece cover moreiver all the coure such as civil, mech, eee, cse also
I am also searching for that.......! {lol}
Hey Vashistha,
Both are equivalently good sector. To be precise ECE is better than CSE only relying on the condition that your’re not a good programmer(JOKING).
CSE course will be easy throughout your 4 years but ECE will be very tough.Any branch that is integrated with electronics is named as an evergreen branch of engineering.
Electronics is still an emerging sector in India and after the “make in India” thing we see a lot of boost in this sector but day by day it’s becoming hard to survive in sector related to CSE. More efficient people with lesser salary are available to work for the company and that is why people start getting kicked out during recession but since ECE has a demand everywhere, there might be a chance that you survive the heat.
Also you want to work in field, you can apply for IES (Indian Engineering Services) which enables you to directly work as an executive engineer in government companies like BSNL,RAILWAY(RAILTEL),etc.Generally it takes around around 6 years to get stipend of executive engineer but cracking this exams enables you to have your promotions starting from executive engineer.
Lastly I would say that ECE won’t be an easy subject and if you are an average student then you should go for CSE as you will get easy placements but for ECE you need to work really hard.
Best of luck!
I know the soldering and now I am learning embedded c programming.
"It's not your piece of paper (result) but the passion , interest, and the hard work which make the person flourish in his life"
is it not correct to take ece branch
Both are different branches of engineering and the cutoff depends upon the colleges you want to take admission as it is different for all branches. There are certain subject similarities in both like C Programming, data structures, computer networks etc.
ECE is about electronics and how the different electrical components (Microprocessor, RAM etc) communicate with each other. It has more Physics in it. There is a little programming involved but not much.
CSE on the other hand deals with telling these components what to do and when to do it; by programming them. It has a lot of logic involved and Maths too.
ECE has more scope in government bodies than CSE and the scope of CSE in private sectors is good. The packages for both are good depends on which organisation you get placed in.
So both have a good scope but you have to decide what task you are more interested in as per the above differentiation.
Good Luck.
