To be frank, there is not much difference between the two colleges.
Atmaram Sanatan Dharma however is a part of South Campus, and is situated along side other colleges, while Deen Dayal Upadhya College is an off campus college, near Feroz Shah Kotla.
Regarding academics and crowd, the faculty is very good while the crowd attracted is the same for both the colleges.

As both of the colleges come under Delhi University, both of them them are good for any course. The only difference is among the crowd, connectivity, and campus.
ATMA RAM SANATAN DHARMA which is in Dhaula kuan and comes under south campus, is a great college for Bcom Hons and the cut off goes as high as 96% for the same course. It has a good connectivity as bus stand and metro station is nearby. And the campus is also great. The crowd is also friendly except a few of them.
DEEN DAYAL UPADHYAY COLLEGE on the other hand is in dwarka and the cut off goes as high as 97% for bcom hons. The metro station is at a distance from the college and one cannot walk to the college. But other than that it is also a great college with good crown again except a few of them. DDU provides a peaceful environment.
