Hello

It will be really Difficult to tell that which course is best among the two, as both of the courses are best their own aspects, so it really depends on your own interest that which specialization Is best, here I'm telling some of the features about both:

B.sc. Microbiology:

1. The eligibility criteria to get admission in the same is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 with atleast 55% aggregates where PCB or PCM are mandatory subjects.

2. Admission is done through entrance examination and also through merit list, that differs from college to college.

3. Average fee for the same is from 20,000 to 3 lacs.

4. The average salary for the same from 4LPA to 6LPA and the highest salary goes upto 6 LPA.

Top colleges for the same are:

1. Lovely professional University

2. Amity University

3. Madras Christian College

4. Calicut University

5. Padmashree institute of management and science

B.sc. Biochemistry

1. The eligibility criteria to get admission in the same is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 with atleast 50% aggregates from science stream.

2. The admission is mainly merit based.

3. The average fee for the same is from 36,000 to 1.5 lacs, it differs from college to college.

4. The average salary for the same is from 1lac per year to 2.5 lacs.

Here some top colleges for the same:

1. Sri Venkateswara, New Delhi

3 . Queen Mary's College, Chennai

Hello Aspirant,

Biochemistry is the study of chemical processes within living organisms. In order to know these details we must also know a lot more information such as morphology, physiology etc..(ology). This means that most subjects that fall within this description (microbiology) are covered in Biochemistry syllabus BUT If you wish to specialise then Microbiology is great.

Biochemistry is a useful certification to have as it is GENERiC it encompasses a lot of information in a general way leaving you with options further down the road whilst Microbiology is SPECIFIC .

All the best!!!!
