Hello,
Both the career options are amazing in their own way. But still, there are some differences. You can complete an engineering degree in 4 years, or 6 years if you go for the respective PG degree. But, in case of Medical, MBBS will take 5 and a half years, and a specialization after that will take additional 2-3 years or more. So in that case, engineers can get a good job earlier than doctors. After an engineering degree, it will be easier to get jobs, but after a medical degree, it won't be easy to open your own clinic or hospital if nobody in your family background is a doctor, or if you have no good connections with any doctor. But again, in the case of emergencies, only doctors will have the demand instead of software engineers. In the software engineering field, you will need to keep yourself updated with every latest technology everytime, and the salary is often less as compared to that of the doctors.
Yet, both the degrees have amazing opportunities in the present era, as whenever people fall ill, they will demand for a doctor, and whenever people need a change or need to make their lives easier, they will need coders and developers to make it happen. So, you can choose any one based on your interest. Judge the pros and cons of both the degrees, follow your interest, and I hope that you choose the best for yourself.
Hope it helps!!!
