Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli is one of the better technical institutes in Maharashtra next to COEP,VJTI, SPIT,KJ Somaiya and VIT Pune. The institute has good infrastructure, faculty and research facilties. Although you may expect bleak placements in Civil Engineering, but an excellent peer environment with many preparing for Top Government Exams like GATE and ESE for prestigious Government Jobs.
