As far as placement is concerned, NIT Calicut is better. Over 75% of students have been hired by 134 companies and the average compensation has gone up to ₹8.5 LPA from ₹7.5 LPA from the recruitment last year. All the 108 students of the B.Tech. Computer Science course have been enlisted and the average annual salary offered is ₹12.5 LPA . Three students have been offered the highest salary of ₹40 LPA each by Adobe Systems Incorporated and three others offered ₹33 LPA each by Goldman Sachs Group .
