Hello,

Dr.B.C.Ray enginnering college:

• The hostel facilities are good,but the food is not at all good.
• The fees with hostel facility is around 79k per semester.
• The placements are not good here,Microsoft came here 2 years ago with Rs 10 lakh per year but no one was selected.
• The scenario of every private college is almost same.Private colleges don't care about your career.
• Some faculties are good and some are not good.

Kolaghat Engineering College:

• The placements are good as compared to Dr.B.C Ray engineering college.
• Te companies offer good packages on IT/Software companies like TCS,CTS,Infosys,Tech Mahindra..etc
• The core engineering placements are very poor.
• Hostel food is not healthy.
• Faculty is not up to the mark.

So it depends on you whether which one to prefer.

My personal suggestion would be that youcan look out for some other engineering college other thn these two.

Cemk is good college . It has 6 trade like ee, it, me, cse, ece, aeie. It is situated near ktpp township. The college campus is big . It has playing ground and hostel facility are also available and broadband( 280Mbps) also offered to theke hostelers. But the hostel food is not good.Academic : Teachers are very good and supportive. They attend the class every day . You can get help from them after class.But there is a problem that they cannot give you sufficient marks in internal .The attendance must be above 65 % otherwise you could not sit for exam.The classes stars from 9 am and ends 5 pm. There are some extra class held.Entertainment : There are two fest held one spandan cultural fest and resonance tech fest.Fees: 40000/semester and hostel 15000/semester.





Placement: this time placement scenario was not good at all. Companis like TCS imfosis and some local company came.





This is good college but its very strict college. If you eager to learn then you choose the college.

My opinion on Dr.b c ray college



Placements at Dr B.C. Roy Engineering College are quite well. More than 40% of the total students in a course get placed. Many companies like Accenza, TCS, Cognizant, and a lot more visit the campus for placements. Students are generally offered a salary package of Rs.10,000-30,000 per month which is quite well for freshers. Job roles like sales executive, BPO, marketing executive, etc., are offered to students.

The College life is wonderful, we basically feel very humble when we are in the first year of our college but as the time goes by we feel as if we are facing many challenges but were ready to accept this challenge.The college environment is both study oriented and fun-based.Faculties are loving,the communication with teachers are well, The Tech-fest and Cultural fest is wonderful and it unites the whole college together.Overall the experience is astonishing

For Dr.B.C.RAY ENGINEERING COLLEGE

This college is good for only CSE and IT branches but others core branches like ME,EE students don't get the proper placements.......so the core department placement facilities are worst....I am the 2019 passout batch from ME department..we didn't get the placement........ apart from that college classes are really awesome teachers are really helpful and they teaches all the students very carefully and college's environment are fine and ground, gardens are really awesome.........
