Pros of IIT BHU CSE

New Course Structure - an improved course structure due to efforts of Dr. Rajeev Sangal former director IIITH which lays emphasis on improving knowledge and preparing students to work in industry.

Great Alumni Network- IIT BHU is an institute that was established a 100 yrs back so it has a great alumni network so many companies visit the campus.

Good coding culture -The coding culture in IIT BHU is one of the finest in country .The academic workload is also less as compared to other IIT which provides ample time to improve our coding skills

Codefest-Last year we have restarted our departmental fest i.e Codefest . It includes events from various domains of computer science like Machine Learning,Artificial Intelligence etc.which opens students mind towards various which are otherwise introduced very late in course curriculum.

Cons

Infrastructure- Actually the infrastructure is one which is not up to the mark as compared to other IIT's

Old professors- The professors that were recruited before Dr. Sangal took the charge are not up to the mark.

Now about IITH CSE as I have heard and read

Pros

Vicinity to IT hub-The IITH is located in Hyderabad which is the it hub which leads to organising of hackathons and more startup companies visiting the campus.

Flexible Course Structure - The IIT H course structure allows you to choose subjects you want to study.
