IIT DHANBAD:  Placements : The placement percentage is quite high as in most of the IITs. Around 80% of the students in B.Tech programmes get placed. Placement percentage of the branches like Electronics and Communication engineering and computer science is 90% whereas the civil department lacks a bit regarding placements. The highest salary package offered was 36 LPA and was offered to the students of CSE department.

Infrastructure : The infrastructure of the college is quite good and is still developing.

IIT BHUBANESWAR:. Placements: Placements for students of the 2017-2018 batch were good. The average salary package offered was around 11 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 39 LPA, by Adobe company. Almost 87% of students from B.Tech got placed into renowned companies like Adobe, ISRO, DRDO, etc. The placement cell of IIT, Bhubaneswar is called career development cell. It conducts placements according to their procedures which are provided on the website of IIT.
