Hello,
Both are equivalently good sector. Firstly, it depends on your passion, interest & innate talent which field to opt for. If you are comfortable with electronic circuits, chips & study of physics, ECE is a good option & vice versa. CSE course will be easy throughout your 4 years but ECE will be very tough. Any branch that is integrated with electronics is named as an evergreen branch of engineering.
Electronics is still an emerging sector in India and after the “make in India” thing we see a lot of boost in this sector but day by day it’s becoming hard to survive in sector related to CSE. More efficient people with lesser salary are available to work for the company and that is why people start getting kicked out during recession but since ECE has a demand everywhere, there might be a chance that you survive the heat.
Lastly I would say that ECE won’t be an easy subject and if you are an average student then you should go for CSE as you will get easy placements but for ECE you need to work really hard.
