Okay, Now looking at the two institutes, I'd go for KGP because, IIT roorkie is not in the same league as KGP but, that's all about the branding you see. Academically, both are pretty good so, it mostly depends on your interest. If you are open to both the streams then i suggest KGP but if you want to do CS then don't think about the institution's ranking.
