see Institute of engineering and management is one of the best college among private institute in india. however jadavpur is best according to its course curriculum, college life, infrastructure and faculty, projects options, placement etc. however mechanical and ece and IT are quite different stream and one should choose the stream wisely. mechanical engineering deals with work power energy, viscosity, fluid dynamics etc. where Information technology deals with computer software, cloud computing , al and soft computing. the major subjects in electronics and communication engineering is modern physics, different types of solid state device, electromagnetic field theory etc. since IEM is affiliated by makaut, wb, its syllabus is according to makaut, wb., however you must have to think to choose the subject wisely. however fees structure is less in jadavpur university than IEM.

Astik Goari , All the three courses with there colleges are best but in overall rating and in placement and all features  is Mechanical Engineering in Jadavpur university is best.

But i suggest you please first clarify about your course or a branch then think about college.
