You asked that which one is the better option between ms & mtech.

Look,

Both MTech & MS will get the same opportunities, same job profile, both of them are allowed to sit in the placement for the same companies but the main thing is MTech are allowed to sit in placements only after 1.5 years and MS are allowed to sit in placements drive after 2.5 years( and that also after taking NOC form your guide).

So, this totally depends on you. If you are interested in research then you should definitely go for MS and if you are only interested in placements then most of the people prefer MTech. Many students who didn’t able to get admission in MTech due to low gate score, they take admission in MS, where they invest there one extra year rather than going for one-year GATE preparation and they get equal opportunities in placement.
