Hello aspirant.
The final verdict of the Supreme Court allowed resumption of the NEET medical counseling process for admissions to 2021-2022 academic session with 27% OBC and 10% EWS quota, due to which the counseling procedure was being delayed. Thus, the All India Counselling procedure for NEET UG can start anytime soon and you may want to keep an eye on the official MCC website, which is given below- http://mcc.nic.in/#/home .
The All India Counselling mainly comes to help when you want to take admission in government colleges of states other than the one you live in. Many students with 600+ marks choose All India Counselling if they want to opt for better medical colleges in other states. Students have 15% reservation in colleges of other states. State counseling is usually helpful as the candidate has 85% state quota reservation in the domicile state and therefore, has more chances of grabbing a government seat, even with average marks (550+).
