SIBM and XUB are both top notch colleges in the field of management. While assessing the college to join we must look at some very important aspects like academic curriculum, faculty, infrastructure and the corporate exposure provided at the college for the overall development of the candidate. These are some of the most important things to consider.

SIBM Bangalore and XUB are among the top notable institutes in India and fall under top 30. Therefore in terms of all the above factors both can be given equal weightage.

A masters in business finance is more generic in terms of the curriculum. It will give you a wide range of opportunities. It gives a wide range of courses with the core of "Finance". You would be studying Financial accounting, planning, Management, Corporate accounting, project planning, appraisal, finance etc.

MBA in Quantitative Finance also has the base focus on finance but this is more towards studying finance using modelling and analytical techniques. It is a combination of quantitative analytics and financial modelling.

The program you want to choose is highly dependent on the long term goal you have set for yourself. Quant finance will give you mostly Finanalytics opportunities or modelling opportunities and is niche while the MBF program will open a wider range.
