Dear aspirant,

It is completely a personal choice and each stream has different benefits. If your looking from employability pov, chemistry might have more varied options than microbiology. If you are interested in pursuing further studies by doing MSc and then PhD, you should take your time to think about what interests you and then choose something that you would like to work on. As/if you progress to Masters, things will get rigorous so if you are thinking of choosing academia please make an informed choice.
