Which is better SVNIT computer engineering or DAIICT for ICT?
Dear aspirant,
Both DAIICT and SVNIT is best in its own way. DAIICT has great placements, great academics , experienced faculties. Infrastructure is good enough. Placements in DAIICT are excellent. In ICT stream nearly 80% of students get placed. But comparing it with CSE in SVNIT, SVNIT will be somehow better as here almost over 90% students gets placement and average package offered is also better than ICT in DAIICT. In the last year highest package offered to a CSE student of SVNIT of 39 LPA, which is quite good.
Now if you consider on campus placement as your parameter you should go for CSE in SVNIT. But in term of infrastructure, academics DAIICT would be a good choice.
Hope it would be helpful.
Hi there,
SVNIT does not enjoy a great computer engineering reputation, but the placements are good with companies like Samsung visiting each year and microsoft and apple occasionally. DAIICT also has a great reputation but remember the ICT course isn't a pure computer science course. So it will depend on your interest.
Just for the record (Being to both the campuses) infrastructure wise DAIICT is better but SVNIT is getting there with lots of renovation done in last two year. Professors wise DAIICT has a good professor base compared to computer science department of SVNIT. Location wise SVNIT is in upper hand as it is in the heart of the city. Placement wise the scenario is slightly better in SVNIT. Considering these factors please take the informed decision and the best advice will be given by the current seniors so contact them.
