Don't know much about the other 2 colleges mentioned abouve, but Thapar University is one of most renowned and reputed colleges in India. It is rated amongst the top ranked innovation-driven private universities and technical institutes in the country. It focusses on providing both practical and theoretical knowledge to its students. The students and faculty are very helpful and supportive. The faculty always tries to generate noew ideas of teaching to enhance learning in the classrooms. Also, They have a great corporate network due to which the college has a great placement cell wherein big companies participates.

Hence, I will definitely suggest you do not think twice if you getting a chance to be a part of this prestigious institute.

Hello Sanjay,

Below I have provided the required details for both of the colleges -

Thapar University :

  • Thapar University is a private Deemed to be University and was eshtablished in the year 1956. The campus size is about 250 acres with 482 faculty people.
  • The university is UGC approved and has been accredited 'A' grade by NAAC. The university is also ranked at 23rd among engineering and 27th among universities by NIRF.
  • The university has the required facilities like boys hostel, girls hostel, gym, library, cafeteria, medical/hospital, transport, alumni association, parking facility etc.
  • Talking about placements, B.E./B.Tech students gets a average package of 6.20 Lakhs.

SJB Institute of Technology :

  • The college is a private college and was eshtablished in the year 2001. The campus is about 14 acres with 227 faculty people.
  • The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and has also been accredited 'A' grade by NAAC.
  • The college has the required facilities like boys hostel, girls hostel, library, cafeteria, medical/hospital, transport, convenience store, alumni associations, bank facilities etc.
  • As far as the placements to be considered, B.E./B.Tech students gets an average package of 5.03 Lakhs.

Now according to me both the colleges are good. Yes, in some cases Thapar University is much better compared to SBJ Institute of Technology, but ultimately its your call. If you want to really want to study CSE then go for SBJ Institute of Technology else go for Thapar University.
