Well, brother it depends!
It depends, how you take the things seriusly. Yuor drop should not be your last choice, infact your preference to get a better college.
Your drop should be a reason, becuase you couln't achieved a good college, it should be an attempt to succeed your dream
It takes courage to take drop and more strength to study for an entire year!
Prepare yourself mentally if you can handle the pressure for an year!
For, any more advise, feel free to ask
Thank You
Hope you are doing well.
This is the most common doubt that most of the student faces after class 12th, with a huge reputation, IITs have became the super power institute in our country for engineering and private. Colleges are no where compared to IITs.
If you think, you can crack IIT after a year's drop then you should definitely take a drop, a bit of hard work, determination can do the work for you. So please think about it, if you can crack IIT after an year, take a drop.
Hope I am clear.
It completely depends on you whether you can devote 1 year for your dreams . If your jee score is poor ,then I would suggest that rather than joining a poor college, it is better to drop a year.
Dropping a year requires a lot of hardwork as you are devoting a year for a single cause and you may feel family pressure and also you might see your friends enjoying college life, such things may distract you .
But, I suggest if you decide to drop a year then you must work hard so that your hardwork and dropping a year bore fruits.
So,drop a year and start preparing with full dedication rather than joining a college with bad placements and other drawbacks.
Best of Luck!!
