Both MBA and MTECH can give higher salary but it is just a matter of time you have to serve. MBA is a faster way of earning more compared to M.tech. MBA’s get exposure to the placement of jobs based on the kind of organization they work for, while an M.Tech in a specific discipline restricts knowledge only to companies operating based on that discipline. An MTech with years of experience and expertise will garner knowledge to work as an expert and this could help him/her to get a better salary than his /her MBA counterparts.

The average salary for M.Tech. varies according to the Courses. For example, M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering will be Rs. 300000 to Rs. 1800000. For Computer Science and Engineering it varies from Rs. 360000 to Rs. 1500000.
The same implies for MBA, depending upon your role, like being a Relationship Manager you get Rs. 424954, Business Analyst is Rs. 596465, Marketing Executive is Rs. 305043!
