Both of the mentioned Institutions have excellent facilities and importance in its own way. Now in term of NIRF Ranking Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, J alandhar has a ranking of 52nd whereas BIT Mesra is at 38 th position.

In term of placement BIT Mesra is pretty good. The training and placement cell of BIT Mesra works round the clock to secure excellent career opportunities for all students. Some of the well known companies like IBM, Infosys, KPMG etc visited the campus. The average package for engineering is 10 lacs per annum and the highest package offered to one student was of 40.63 LPA, which is extraordinary .
