Which is better to persue bsc or bcom before MBA? I had PCM in 12.
If you need to do masters in Business Administration, then why is it necessary to take BSc? It's completely waste of energy and money. You can choose Bcom or BBA before MBA as you can learn basics of your Master degree from Bachelors itself. It could be a better foundation for your MBA dream rather than opting for BSc.
Hi Ankita,
Thanks for your query. The nature of any MBA programme is diverse; so one can pursue the same coming from any subject or domain. There is no such mandate in terms of the undergraduate course. However, before choosing the undergraduate course, you must be sure of your academic interest. B.Sc will enrich you with knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology etc, while B.Com will provide you with a platform for a wide range of knowledge in all branches of commerce and industry, from sales and marketing through to financial services, information technology, retail, manufacturing, tourism, transport and business consulting. So, you need to finalise your subject base on your level of interest.
There are several examples of students pursuing Biotechnology or Chemistry in their undergraduate studies and shifting to MBA in their postgraduate studies. MBA course content is unique in itself. So, take your decision wisely.
