Some of the common areas covering both these courses in government sectors are qualifying NET or SET and becoming assistant professor, or appearing for exams like UPSC, SSC CGL, State PSCs, Banking or Insurance( there are specialists recruitment that takes place for people with Economics background ) to name a few. There are also scope for private banks for these candidates.
