As well as, The department of Chemical Engineering offers B.Tech., M.Tech. and Ph.D programmes. Students are admitted to these programmes based on National level competitive examinations. Foreign national students are also given admission to these programmes. The department has well qualified faculty dedicated to teaching and doing research in fundamental and advanced areas. The department houses various laboratories catering to the needs of the curriculum.

There are two perspectives here. One is the College, and another is the branch. If I talk about College, then MNIT Allahabad, NIT Trichy, and NIT Warangal are among the top 5 NITs, So College does not make a lot of difference.
In terms of the branch, your interest and passion matter first. Civil Engineering is a core engineering branch and has numerous opportunities in both the private and Government sector, whereas Chemical Engineering has a restrictive opportunity in our country.
And though you belong to UP, I will suggest you go for MNIT Allahabad, Civil Engineering.
