Hello,
NEETPG should be your main goal if you're more clinically oriented, want to finish your training quickly (2/3 years of training + 1–2 years of test preps), and don't like additional constraints.
PLAB is the way to go if you're willing to commit to a long training programme (approximately 6–9 years of training + a minimum of one year to access training), have the GMC on your shoulder at all times, be on your toes when it comes to continuing professional development activities, and want research to be a significant part of your training.
To be frank, you don't make a lot of money in the United Kingdom. This country is severely taxed, has an exceptionally high cost of living, and has excessively long working hours. In theory, you'd be working an average of 48 hours every week. When you throw in the paperwork, the continual feeling of being watched, and the high expectations of patients, these 48 hours are virtually as exhausting as an 80–100 hour work week in India.
There is a benefit to training in the United Kingdom: International recognition. Almost every country (except the United States) recognises British qualification. As a result, British education provides you with worldwide opportunities. However, you may accomplish the same results with an Indian MD/MS/DNB/DM/MCh. Even if the salary is a little lower, you'll be saving almost 6–7 years, and the time difference alone will pay off.
Despite the fact that PLAB is a difficult two-stage screening test for foreign medical graduates in the United Kingdom, it is the most prevalent route. Candidates who pass the PLAB exam are granted permission to work in the United Kingdom.
Hope it helped
Thank you
