Loyola College in Chennai is an autonomous institution affiliated to the University of Madras. It has been elevated to the status of “College of Excellence" by the UGC and as per the 2017 National Institutional Ranking Framework, it has been awarded second position in India, closely following Miranda House in Delhi. It has been reaccredited by NAAC scoring 3.70 CGPA out of 4.00. These data prove the quality of the institution. According to the records of 2015-2016, after UG in Loyola 229 students has been placed via campus placements and 205 have been selected for higher studies. Out of the 2015 students who had been admitted in the first year of U.G, 950 of them have graduated in the stipulated time. The College provides hostel services to both Male and female students. They conduct classes in 2 shifts, one for the underprivileged students, where support is provided by the government and the other for the privileged students.

Madras Christian College in Kanchipuram District, Tamil Nadu as per NIRF rankings is 12th in the country. This is a decent ranking and proves the quality of the institution. According to the 2015-2016 records, 243 students have been placed via campus placements after completing their UG from MCC. Also, of the 1676 students who had enrolled for the UG courses 1083 has graduated in the stipulated time. The institution also has hostel accomodation.There are both aided courses and self-financed courses offered.
