Deciding whether to study abroad for an undergraduate or a master's degree depends on various factors including career goals, financial considerations, and personal circumstances. Studying abroad for an undergraduate degree offers early exposure to a different education system, cultural immersion, and potential networking opportunities that can be beneficial for future career prospects. However, it can be significantly more expensive and may present challenges in terms of adjusting to a new environment at a younger age. On the other hand, completing an undergraduate degree in India and pursuing a master's degree abroad can be more cost-effective and strategically advantageous. By then, students have a clearer sense of their career goals, greater maturity, and a stronger academic foundation, which can enhance their ability to secure scholarships and assistantships for graduate studies. Ultimately, the decision hinges on individual priorities such as financial capacity, career aspirations, and readiness for international exposure.

Hi, when you look into your options only you can tell which one is the best fit for you. However what people usually like to consider is the country's weather, the amount of fees you have to pay, any extra side income you can get while studying, racism, quality of education, and the last thing is scholarship. You need to know for sure that you are ready to leave your family behind or not, some people really want their families close and hence they do not go abroad for studying. Coming to undergraduate or graduate programs are for you. Think like this are you ready to stay there for 4 years or for 1-2 years. And will it be a financial burden. It is a hard fact that studying abroad is costly and you need to be prepared for it. If you are not sure take a year gap and I hope you will get your answers. If you still have doubts feel free to comment. All the best!
