Which is more better mining or mechanical according to placement in gce,keonjhar?

Mining Engineering as the college was started with mining branch. Mining branch placement ranges from 50-60% with avg. package of 4 lakhs and prominent companies like Vedanta, IMFA, Maheswari, Balasor alloys, Thriveni, SN Mohanty recruit every year.

While rest of the branches varies from 4-5 % placement.
